1 First Encounter

Ohaiyo! My name is Mikan Takashima. I’m a student in middle high school. Most important, I’m an otaku. I have a friend, Hotaru, which share same interest with me. We always talk about manga and anime including today. Somehow, I become very excited  which makes me a little bit careless.
Me: ...and you know Hotaru... *waves hand* *smack*
Me: Ah! Gomen, gomen! I hope it’s not hurt..
Stranger : Damn! Girl this day is so... tch... Baka
Me: You! I’m not baka! I properly apologised and you -
Stranger : I won’t forgive someone who loves to gossip and smack people head freely!
Me: I’m not gossiping! I’m talking about manga and stuff!
Stranger : *smirk* I don’t forgive a crazy otaku too...
Me: How dare you insult me, you jerk!
Hotaru : Enough Mikan... We’ll be late.
Stranger : Yeah, follow what you friend said crazy otaku Mikan...
Me: Urgh! You - *hand pulled* Hotaru!

And that’s how my good day ruin... I hate anybody who say something bad about otaku! I mean everyone have their favourite thing! Hotaru keep saying that I am reckless to mess with a senior. I don’t care already since he said terrible things... That day, I get to know that the senior that Hotaru is talking about is Kaoru Hitaachiin. He is a genius and he’s also good in sport which I sucks... Well, he is good looking but he’s rude! And I hate him so much.

 This ruined day, is brighten when Midori sensei speak about School Festival.
Me: Kyaa... At last School Festival come!
Hotaru: I hope this year’s festival is as good as last year...
Mio: Or even better! Haha... This would be a very heart-racing festival...
All my classmate looks very excited, so do I! I hope it will start something new in my life. Like becoming a school star or falling in love. *blush* School Festival...

Midori sensei: Alright. Enough everyone... I know everyone is excited. This year, we will         change School Festival... We will make sure everyone have a roll and the best class will win a free trip to Hokkaido!
Me: Wow... That’s a big change.
Tamaki: Ano... sensei... What do you mean by everyone have a roll?
Midori sensei: Mean everybody have to work together. It’s a big festival since all school from this area will come, even you parents if they want. You know, this school is a very respectable school so you have to work hard and ganbatte! *smiles*
Mio: So sensei, what should we do with our class? A cafe? A haunted house?
Midori sensei: Hurm. That’s something we will discuss today...

After a long discussion, we decided to make a planetarium. And this feels great, since it’s my idea. Kyaa... Planetarium. Star, meteor and everything. Astrology is another thing that I like after anime and manga. I like it because its pretty. I joined astronomy club last year but I never go to the club meeting. Suprisingly, Mio says to me that after school, there will be a club meeting. And I have to come.

Me: *pleading* Demo! Mio... I don’t want to. Mom will be mad and I-
Mio: Don’t be ridiculous Mikan... Your mom won’t mad at small things like this. Don’t you remember, your mom asked you to be more active in club things if you don’t want to join sports...
Me: Yeah but...
Mio: We are here!
Me: *gulp*

I’m really worry now... I’v never gone too club meeting and I don’t know anyone in the club except Mio. I’m very lazy and if I have to do some task for the club during School Festival... Urgh...
